Rockwell purchased a vintage River West loft building for $4.25 million and plans to convert it into apartments.
The 48-unit project at 925 W. Chicago Ave (formerly a Proline Golf Store) is currently being considered by the city’s Zoning Board. Rockwell plans to include one- and two-bedroom apartments, as well as a coffee shop or retailer on the ground floor.
The surrounding area is already being developed with at least one other apartment building and is expected to be an up-and-coming residential location.
